Over this last weekend,
Janey and I were in Auburn Alabama with our great Charlie's Lunch partners, INITIAL OUTFITTERS, at a banquet to feed hungry children all over the world. We were blown away by their enthusiasm, especially for sales for their Charlie's Lunch Boxes to provide revenue to feed the kids in all the lunch rooms that Initial Outfitters supports in 6 different nations!! They surpassed all previous goals, and even though it is only July, they have already raised the revenue to provide Charlie's Christmas Celebrations to all their Charlie's Lunch Feeding Centers! They surprised us time and again throughout the evening with new and higher and greater goals that they had met to feed Charlie's Kids. As it stands now, the lives of 1,100 children will be changed through the enthusiasm and blessing of Initial Outfitters.
Jim & Alicia, Beth and their excellent leadership, along with their power team of special
ladies who call themselves Charlie's Angels on Mission to feed the world through Charlie's Lunch, gathered for a motivational weekend to POWER UP. They are doing wonders to bring daily long term sunshine to these kids. During dinner, the fireworks and celebration were on display filling our hearts with surprise and joy. What an excellent and exciting evening as Initial Outfitters has "Powered Up" Charlie's Lunch!
Janey and I thank you for a marvelous evening and banquet together with you all. What a send off as we board a plane to minister in 9 communities In El Salvador and Guatemala over the next 9 days.
