Charlie’s Lunch is a Christian ministry aimed at ministering to the world’s needy children and their families. By expressing God’s eternal love and care in tangible, practical terms, Charlie’s Lunch offers hope and a future to children in hopeless situations. By addressing the real-life needs of children and their families, Charlie’s Lunch gives people the opportunity to discover the life-changing difference Jesus can make.
Donations help us feed more kids around the world. Currently, we feed well over 2,000 children regularly in 30 feeding locations in 6 countries around the world. These locations currently include Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, India, the Philippines, and Honduras.
Charlie's Lunch began in 1997 out of Sam & Janey Stewart's home in Guatemala where they were serving as missionaries. When their son Charlie passed away God spoke to them and encouraged them to start feeding the poor kids in their area the lunch they would have fed Charlie. Since that time the ministry grew and now 21 years later is still growing and going strong to the glory of God.
