Greetings from Charlie's Lunch Ministries! God is moving in a mighty way in these "last days." Here at Charlie's Lunch we are expanding by establishing new feeding centers around the world to be used as a tool to demonstrate God's unconditional love to hungry children of the world and their families. Thank you for partnering with us ain this missions outreach through prayer and financial contributions. We are truly "in this together" to see lives changed and rescued from starvation in body and soul.

In Juarez, Mexico our newest feeding center is set to open on December 1st in an area called the "fronterizo" on the outskirts of this Mexican border city of 1.2 million people. Pastor Ontiveros and his congregation have been praying for 2 years for a feeding center in this area. We have joined hands with them to reach thier community for Christ!

In San Salvador, El Salvador, we are moving forward in the Chalatenango area to establish our first Charlie's Lunch feeding center in this very needy country. You may remember the devastation that struck this country after hundreds of earthquakes literally caused an entire mountainside to bury villages. We are thrilled to be a part of the rebuilding of this country and the reaching out to the hungry and needy children of El Salvador.

The Charlie's Lunch Shoe Factory is in full-swing making shoes. The adolescent boys, their brothers, uncles and even fathers are learning this trade under the direction of Pastor Luis Villatoro. This gives these young men a skill and opportunity to make a living without having to resort to "street" living. Currently, the Charlie's Lunch Shoe Factory is making all the shoes for our Charlie's Lunch kids in Guatemala for our special Christmas outreaches.

Gang members accept Christ!! Just in the last 4 weeks, 5 gang members have accepted Christ. The leader of the gang, a cousin to one of our Charlie's Lunch kids finally came to church at the invitation of his cousin. God touched his heart and he asked Jesus Christ to become Lord of his life. He then invited 3 other gang members to listen to Pastor Luis share the gospel. They also accepted Christ. Then, the following Sunday, one other gang member came to church, angry and with a knife in his pocket ready to stab Pastor Luis for what he's done to break up the gang. However, God touched his heart in that service and he met Pastor Luis at the front of the church and handed him the knife. With tears in his eyes he said, "I came here to do you harm with this knife, but now all I want is Jesus to be Lord of my life. PTL! Pastor Luis is currently discipling these young men pictured here on a regular basis in the foundations of the Christian faith. Their lives have completely changed! Glory to God!

El Aguacate, Guatemala, we will be establishing our 5th feeding center beginning Dec.15th with a special Christmas outreach. The area is located just outside the capital city in an extemely poor area. The pastor from the church called "Rama" and his wife and children are thanking God for Charlie's Lunch. They were ready to give up because they couldn't live on the $25 a month that the church was paying them. They were going hungry in this very poor area. Now they have a tool to reach their village and a guarantee of a hot meal to sustain them as they work for the Lord.

WE are raising our Christmas funds through these lunchboxes for the next 2 months and plan to provide each Charlie's Lunch child a new pair of shoes, a toy and a specially prepared Christmas meal.
