LETTER FROM CHARLIE'S LUNCH KID!

I am Syam Sunder, 12 years old, I have written my Seventh Grade Exams and I am waiting for results. I came from a non-Christian background. Before I came to church, my family would worship Hindu idols! My family comes from the Hindu cast and Schedule tribe.

We are very poor and my father does not have any work! My mother is the only on who goes to work. She is Street Sweeper (cleaning Roads). She sometimes receives a little amount of money that we try to live. It is very difficult!

My father name: Krishna
My mother name: Pramila
My Brother: Narsinga
My sister: Kanyakumari
My Sister: Vsantha Kumari
I am the last son: Syam Sunder

It is a great privilege for me to know about Jesus! Now my family members have all come to know about Jesus Christ. I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior!

I am very happy and blessed by Charlie’s Lunch Feeding Program! I am not receiving proper food at my home. My mother is the only person who works and she will receive a small amount of money, it is not sufficient for us all. By God’s, Grace I am receiving sufficient food with Charlie’s Lunch. I am very happy!

I am receiving good Nutritional food and becoming extra healthy. In time of Charlie’s Lunch, we are learning Bible Lessons and Songs. We are coming to know about God. Every day I am studying memory verses and doing well.

There are many children in Necnapur! There are now forty children receiving food provided by Charlie’s Lunch program. “Thank God”, for the Physical food & Spiritual food!

Charlie's Lunch
Letter From Lee Ruud:

It is by the Grace of God that the people and children of Necnapur have the great privilege and blessing to receive the Ministry of Charlie's Lunch feeding program! As of April 1, 2005, we have started the second month of the Feeding Center! Necnapur is a village of 2,000 people in the Rangareddy District of Andhra Pradesh India. The average daily wage is just $1.30! There is severe proverty in this muslim community where 70% are considered extremely poor.

However, Pastor K.J. Jeremiah has 35 members in his House Church and is thrilled to have Charlie's Lunch as a "Power-tool" to reach out to his village. Currently Charlie's Lunch feeds 30 of the poorest children in Necnapur however Lee Ruud reports that there are 700 children in need of this help. We know that this is just the beginning and Pastor Jeremiah is sure that as the children come and hear the gospel message, their hearts and that of their parents will soften and eventually receive salvation through the cross of Christ. Please pray with us for this work as there are families under great spiritual, physical and financial bondage.
