In Gajularamaram, a colony of 2,000 people, Charlie’s Lunch opened in December it’s 8th Feeding Center in India. The people in this community live in mud huts and some brick houses and work as daily laborers making an average of $1.20 per day. There is severe poverty and if there is not enough money to buy food for the one meal a day, children will go without food for 2 to 3 days. It is predominantly a Hindu village but Pastor John Rao has a church of 100 members called "Lamb Full Gospel Church" that is reaching out in love with the message of Jesus Christ. 40 more children are being fed, 3 times each week and taught Bible stories and songs. A medical team of 2 doctors and 3 nurses treated nearly 500 patients in November in this village. Please pray for Pastor Rao and the church as they use Charlie’s Lunch to reach out to the hungry, poor and needy in Gajularamaram.
